Park overview

Les Roulottes des Grandes Côtes is situated in the heart of rural France and is ideally located for exploring this untouched area. Located on a plateau overlooking the Bouble Gorge and set on the banks of a river for fishing, the facilities here include a covered heated pool, jacuzzi, gym plus a playground and tree house for the children. The park is an ideal base for exploring the local area, hire a bike or enjoy a leisurely walk through the scenic meadows.

The local area

Les Roulottes des Grandes Côtes is located a seven mile drive from the small village of Chantelle, a typical Burgundy village, with a small selection of bars and restaurants and a beautiful abbey. The medieval market town of Charroux is a ten minute drive from the park, form here there are some excellent walking routes for exploring the local area.

Children will love a day trip to Le Pal (47mls), an amusement park and zoo with over 25 spectacular attractions and over 500 animals from five different continents. The quiet village of Souvigny (25mls), is set amongst the wooded hills of the Auvergne, and has a beautiful medieval church dating from the 11th century. Here you can see the tombs of some of the most influential Dukes of Burgundy.
