Camping la Bien Assise Camping la Bien Assise is set in beautiful countryside on the edge of Guînes forest and close to the ferry ports. This ‘Castels et Camping’ site is family orientated, typically French and well cared for.

The atmosphere is peaceful, and there is plenty of space for the children to play, with the grassy emplacements located in the gently undulating parkland of an ancient château. The former stables have been carefully converted into a welcoming shop and bar, and the traditional French restaurant, La Ferme Gourmande, is set in an old farmstead where both locals and guests relish the gourmet fare. Budding sports stars can use the site facilities including tennis and mini-golf while off-site explore the extensive forest of Guînes on bike or by foot. Camping la Bien Assise The town of Guînes is a ten minute walk from the site and offers a few cafés, restaurants and shops. The nearest large town is Calais, a twenty minute drive. The closest beach at Wissant (7mls) is sheltered between two headlands. It is an excellent sandy beach and is a favourite location for watersports including surfing and windsurfing. Take a trip to Aqualud waterpark in Le Touquet (39mls) for a wet and wild day out, with slides, wavepools and a jacuzzi. Camping les Etangs Fleuris Camping les Etangs Fleuris is a quiet haven located in the depths of rural countryside near the hamlet of Touquin, forty miles east of Paris. The enchanting Disneyland® Paris themeparks are only a twenty five minute drive away, making this an ideal base for theme park lovers.

On site, the Coulplé family create a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere - a pleasant contrast to the hustle and bustle of Paris and the theme parks. The busy market town of Coulommiers is around 8 miles north of site. Here, you will find a good range of facilities including restaurants and a supermarket. Slow the pace down with horse riding or a gentle walk in the Forêt de Crécy, followed by a picnic at one of the peaceful picnic spots. Camping les Etangs Fleuris A rural campsite – our closest to Paris and Disneyland Paris. Camping le Ruisseau Camping le Ruisseau is a well-equipped, top quality family-run site. Situated in the Basque country and close to the sea, the majestic peaks of the Pyrénées rise in the distance. The emplacements here are set in shady oakland and the site boasts its own lake, which is ideal for a quiet spot of carp fishing.

The fantastic pool complex incorporates waterslides, a jacuzzi, sauna and an expansive sun terrace. Sports opportunities are plentiful – take to the tennis courts or the gymnasium, while young children will love the excellent play area and trampolines. In the evenings, entertainment is laid on during the height of the summer in the popular lively bar and on the terrace. The site lies close to a motorway but traffic noise is minimal. Camping le Ruisseau Le Ruisseau is around a mile from the 12th century Basque town of Bidart which has dazzling white-washed buildings, good beaches and rocky coves. Both Bidart and Biarritz (2mls) offer many facilities including bars and restaurants. The nearest beach is ‘Centre Plage’, a five minute drive away.
