For all the family
You will find a Canvas Wild & Active Club at seven of our sites, each located in an area of outstanding beauty. The Wild & Active couriers organise a six-day programme of activities with a strong environmental theme. There are children’s sessions plus a wide range of activities and field trips organised with the entire family in mind.


Knowledgeable couriers
The Canvas Wild & Active Club is open throughout the whole season and is free and exclusive to Canvas customers. Our enthusiastic couriers are picked especially for their love and knowledge of wildlife, and all attend our training course. They are on hand throughout your stay to organise the trips and sessions, and have specialist books and equipment ready to help identify and get a closer look at some of the wildlife that you will see.


Explore the local area
Wild & Active Club is a fantastic way for the whole family to discover the local area. Whether you fancy an active day at an adventure park, a canoe trip down the river, a visit to prehistoric caves, or a woodland walk from the campsite, there is something that everyone will enjoy. Sessions vary in length, from day trips where you take along a picnic, to two hour long walks. There are plenty of opportuntites to see the local wildlife and of course to ask questions!


Especially for children
Most children love learning about natural history and our Wild & Active Club is there to help them find out about the natural world on-site and in the surrounding area. The Wild & Active couriers organise sessions two or three times a week especially for children aged between four and eleven. Here they can enjoy all the fun of Hoopi’s Club with a more environmental theme. As well as the usual fun and games, there is the chance to join nature trails and insect hunts around the site - capturing bugs and learning more about them (before returning them safely back to the wild!)
