Camping la Yole, set amid the forest that adorns the coast, is a delightful, well-run family campsite with excellent facilities. The site is laid out in a woodland glade of pine and poplars with shrubs everywhere – the reception is festooned with colourful geraniums.

Relaxing is easy here, most of our emplacements are surrounded by hedges, offering privacy and shade from the hot Vendée sun. The pristine pool complex is popular with children and boasts a large swimming pool, a children’s pool, waterslide, a heated indoor pool and a jacuzzi. Overlooking the pool is the spacious and welcoming restaurant and the tempting ice cream bar. Family entertainment is provided in high season and includes discos and magic shows.
