Recommended Routes to the Loire

Short Sea Crossing

You can reach our Loire sites in a day from Calais. It is 300 miles (6hrs) to Blois, Chambord and Pierrefitte and 350mls to Tours.

Long Sea Crossing

If you travel via Dieppe (Caen or Le Havre) your journey will be cut by approximately 100 miles. Coming from Cherbourg, most of the Loire sites are 250 miles, while it is a 300 mile trip from Roscoff.

By Air

Fly to Tours airport, and be on site in around an hour.

From Ireland

We recommend you take a Landbridge crossing to the UK, then take a crossing as detailed above.
