Canvas Active - Fishing

Many of our campsites are set in the grounds of former country houses and manors - many with large ponds and lakes now populated with fish. It's the perfect combination - a relaxing Canvas holiday with the opportunity to go fishing right on your doorstep. What could be better than sitting in the peaceful surroundings of your campsite's lake or pond, fishing rod by your side?

Fishing Guides

Our Canvas Activities Guide details the best sites for fishing across five different areas of France. Information includes pond/lake descriptions, access (important if you are accompanied by children), the best fishing positions, and what kind of fish you will find there. To make it even easier our customers share their experiences of what type of bait works best and where you can get supplies from in the local area.
