GUEST BLOG – Scottishquine visits Le Chene Gris!
We loved reading Paulene’s holiday story! It shows that it’s never too late to learn something new and holidays really are for making new memories.
“Early in this century, we went on holiday with our youngest two sons to Carnac. It was the end of the season and there were few people around. The site was lovely and fairly flat and I decided I was finally going to learn to ride a bike. I was 48.
We discovered, with the help of the Canvas couriers, that I fitted a ‘big girls bike’ and off I went. With one son on each side I began.
By the end of the week I’d passed on from the figure of eight campsite route to riding to the beach. I’ve never felt so pleased, nor enjoyed learning something so much. The other campers joined in my pleasure and applauded me on my first solo ride. It was brilliant and totally Canvas.”
