If you’re looking to try something different, the region of Cantabria is a gem of northern Spain. With breathtaking coastline, mountains, valleys and seaside towns, this small region is relatively undeveloped, making for a relaxed break. Visit the bayside capital of Santander to explore the fantastic local cuisine, or head inland to check out some of the oldest cave art in the world at Altamira and El Castillo.
