You should plan to arrive on site between 4pm and 6pm, when your courier will be available at the Canvas Holidays reception to show you to your accommodation.
If your campsite does not have a courier you should go to the campsite reception to be shown to your accommodation. Please vacate your accommodation by 10am on the morning of departure.
If you arrive earlier than your allocated check-in time, on most campsites you are free to use all the campsite facilities until you get access to your accommodation at 4pm. This is not always possible, and you should plan your journey to arrive as close to 4pm as you can.
If you arrive after 6pm on a campsite that has a Canvas Holidays courier, you will find instructions and directions to your accommodation in the Canvas Holidays reception. If you arrive after 6pm on a campsite that does not have a Canvas Holidays courier, you will need to go to the campsite's own reception. On many sites arrivals after 10pm will not be accepted, please let us know if you think that you will be arriving on site late by calling us on 0345 268 0827. There is no vehicle access after the campsite gates/ barrier are locked.
Since we cannot arrange arrivals on site after 10pm, we recommend that you choose flight times that will let you reach the site in plenty of time.
If your flight is late and you will be arriving after 10pm, and staying on a campsite with a Canvas courier please call us on 0345 268 0827 so we can notify our onsite teams. If the campsite does not have a Canvas courier, please contact the campsite directly.
If you have a second vehicle you may be asked to pay an extra charge per night or the campsite may refuse access to the site for the second vehicle for the duration of your stay. Any charges levied for a second vehicle must be settled directly with the campsite.
Some campsites do not allow a second car. This information is listed on the campsite pages where applicable.
On selected campsites, dogs are permitted for a small charge per night on tent emplacements (but not in mobile homes and lodges). There may be an additional cost per night, payable to the campsite when you arrive. See individual campsite pages for details. We also recommend you visit the DEFRA website or call their helpline (0870 241 1710), for the latest information on travelling abroad with a pet.
Additional adults are welcome to stay as long as you don’t exceed the maximum occupancy for your accommodation. Please let your couriers know, and inform the campsite as they may need to register. There may be an additional cost.
