Camping de l’Atlantique with its lovely family atmosphere is a Canvas favourite. The main attraction is the colourful water park with its pools and huge water slides. The bar and terrace overlook the water park so if you don’t fancy diving in you can enjoy some refreshments while keeping an eye on the kids.
The lively bar hosts a variety of entertainment in high season, including karaoke, magic shows and a weekly disco. Young children will also have a great time exploring the fishing boat in the play area or playing mini-golf and enjoying the beach right next to the campsite. Although lively in high season, the site is much quieter in May and June, making it ideal for young families.
There is a Canvas Holidays Courier on site. There are no Tuesday arrivals available on this site.
Set amongst wooded farmland, this site has direct access over small sand dunes onto a long, sandy beach. A ten minute drive will bring you to Beg-Meil beach which is sandy, with a scattering of rock pools. The small town of Fouesnant is around three miles from site; it offers a good choice of restaurants and bars and is worth visiting on a Friday, which is market day.
Slide down the longest waterchute in Brittany at Les Balneides, an indoor water centre near Beg-Meil (10 mins drive). Océanopolis is a fabulous aquarium in Brest (60 miles) where you can discover a great variety of marine life, including fearsome sharks and hundreds of penguins.
