Camping la Palombière is set amidst rolling hills and unspoilt countryside between the Dordogne and Vézère Valleys. The enthusiastic owners, Nadia and Eric Braizet, have created an impressive wooded parkland campsite, awarded four red tents by Michelin and an ideal location for a relaxing family holiday.
The well-stocked shop, oak-beamed bar and gourmet restaurant are housed in old stone farm buildings which have been tastefully restored whilst maintaining their original rustic charm. Stone paths take you through the site and past colourful flower beds to our emplacements, which are scattered amongst mature oak trees. Relax by the swimming pool with its two twisting water slides or explore Dordogne by canoe.
There is a Canvas Holidays courier on site. There are no Wednesday arrivals.
Free children's clubs

The river is ideal for canoe trips and is a lovely way to explore this magnificent area.
Take a trip over the Périgord in a light aircraft for one of the best views of this stunning region. Trips are organised by staff on site with special rates for Canvas customers. Families will enjoy a visit to La Forêt des Singes (Monkey Forest in Rocamadour) to feed the various breeds of monkey which roam freely.
