Picturesque villages and beautiful rolling countryside dominate the surrounding area. There are several places of interest to check out such as the Château de Beynac, Calviac Zoological Reserve and the enchanting cave system at Grottes préhistoriques de Cougnac. For children, there are a couple of fantastic tree top parks in the area, as well as Calviac Zoo.
The alluring town of Sarlat is home to wonderful gardens, namely Marqueyssac Gardens and the Water Gardens of Carsac. Other notable places of interest include Château de Puymartin, Castelnaud-la-Chapelle Castle, Manor Gisson and Les Cabanes du Breuil.
