At the heart of the campsite, the lagoon style pool features swimming areas of varying depths and a refreshing mini waterfall. Sun loungers and palm trees share the spacious sun terrace that wraps around the pool. The gentle waves of the Mediterranean lap against the fringes of the resort, meaning you can enjoy swims in both the sea and the pool.
With tasteful décor and delicious dishes, the resort’s restaurant is a great place for families to dine together and sample both regional and local cuisine. The ideally places beachside bar serves cocktails and soft drinks throughout the day and an ice cream parlour will keep kids with a sweet tooth happy. Other amenities onsite include a pizzeria, takeaway and mini market.
Although Gavina is perfect for outdoor escapes with relaxation in mind, there is plenty onsite for active holidaymakers. Best enjoyed earlier in the day or late afternoon, basketball, beach volleyball and beach soccer are available onsite. Enjoy swimming in the sea or indulging in some diving or snorkelling from water sports providers in the local area.
The campsite lies close to Torredembarra, a lively resort with lovely beaches, bars, restaurants and shops. Farther down the coast, you’ll find the historic city of Tarragona. This beautiful Spanish port features many remnants of its roman past, with top sights including Amfiteatre de Tarragona, Circ Romà Chariot Track and the National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona.
